Received the knife today but it has a big gap where thandle meets the lug. Was disapointed in the fit and finish of this knife

The M7 has a long history with military services, built strong and solid of a good carbon steel. Other reviewers mention and complain of the handle gaps at the guard and pommel. If you ever see a M7 without these gaps it’s a fake. They are made with gaps to allow air circulation. It’s a great knife as well as a bayonet a good addition to any collection.
