The original Baconmaker™ was built for a friend in the Special Operations community and designed for sticking things, with no concern of it ever breaking. The spirit of that design comes through in the Baconmaker™. Complete with Adventure sheath.
The handle on the Johnson Adventure® Baconmaker™ by KA-BAR® is made from GFN-PA66. GFN-PA66 is an extremely strong and durable glass reinforced nylon.
The Fixed Blade on the Johnson Adventure® Baconmaker™ by KA-BAR® is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a Flat grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is an easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR Knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this Recurve shaped blade is 7.125 inches long and is stamped with KA-BAR/JAB.
Field sharpening the Johnson Adventure® Baconmaker™ by KA-BAR® is easy with its sharpened edge.
Included with the Johnson Adventure® Baconmaker™ by KA-BAR® is a Khaki Heavy Duty Polyester sheath. Additional Features of this sheath include: External Pouch. This Khaki Heavy Duty Polyester sheath is made in China.
