The 493 M9 bayonet by Ontario Knife Company features a 7 inch, black oxide non-reflective finish, 420 modified stainless steel blade, with milled saw teeth on the back. The overall length of the M9 is 12 1/4 inches. The black handle on the M9 is made from textured thermoplastic nylon. The M9 features a scabbard that is also made from black thermoplastic nylon that contains additional features. For example the scabbard features a flat screwdriver on the end. By using the equipped quick release military holster which quickly releases the scabbard from your belt, the Bayonet and Scabbard connect together to form a wire-cutter. The M9 is designed to fit the M-16, M4 or C-7 Rifle and is made in the US.

With a Rockwell hardness rating of 53-57, this Clip Point shaped blade is 7 inches long and is stamped with M9 Ontario Knife Company USA.
