A synthesis of Becker's trademark ergonomic handle design and a traditionally profiled Bowie style blade, the Combat Bowie has proven to perform well during extended periods of use with less user fatigue than most other knives in its class.
Ultramid® Handle
The Black handle on the BK9 Becker Combat Bowie is made from Ultramid®. Ultramid® is a custom made polymide by BASF and is known for its high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal resistance.
1095 Cro-Van Steel Blade
The Fixed Blade on the BK9 Combat Bowie by Becker Knife & Tool of KA-BAR® is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a Flat grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is an easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR Knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this Clip Point shaped blade is 9 inches long and is stamped with BK&T/KA-BAR.
Field sharpening the BK9 Combat Bowie by Becker Knife & Tool of KA-BAR® is easy with its sharpened edge.

Excellent service by Stapletons Knive Store
Awesome knife, awesome store! The customer service was very fast and helpful, would fully reccomend! The knife itself is a full tang 9" bowie ready for almost anything. I have a becker bk2, and this bk9 might even handle better (due to its thinner but longer blade). Stock scales are meh, likely will stipple them or upgrade them to micarta. Wish this still came with the original free BK13, instead it just has the sheath insert which I removed for more space. The sheath itself is nice with its extra pocket, but might not handle intense wear and tear.

This is a Becker
What a beast, well balanced, nicely finished, strong full tang construction a useful scabbard with room to store fire making supplies this knife will do a lot more than what I will ever require it to do. Looks way stronger than my ka-bar big brother very happy with the purchase and the quality service.
